Five stars for Blake, Julie, and the Planting Oaks crew! After I requested bids for a deck renovation, Blake reached out the very same day. I ultimately chose him over other contractors because he was genuine, detailed, and straightforward and his pricing was incredibly fair, coming in below the average quote.

The customer service throughout construction was unmatched. Blake communicated before and after every major step; even while working my own job, I felt fully in the loop. The team was also deeply respectful of my space and my neighbors.

In just two weeks, they delivered a gorgeous, extended, screened-in deck that immediately upgraded my property (and my neighbors agree!). If you need a major renovation, look no further than Blake. You won't regret it

We have worked with Planting Oaks LLC. on two projects within the past two years. On the first project, they replaced our existing deck and added a concrete patio and steps. The second project was a full bathroom remodel. Both projects turned out beautifully! From start to finish, every person involved with the projects was personable, patient, and respectful with our entire family. It is clear through every interaction with Blake and Julie that they truly enjoy their work and are passionate about bringing the project vision to life.

I had my old deck replaced by Planting Oaks LLC , back in July, 2025 and I’m very pleased with the entire process and the final result.
1.	From the beginning, the contractor was responsive and professional. He promptly followed up on my request for a quote—unlike another contractor who never showed up, even after multiple follow-up calls.
2.	I wanted to use Trex decking materials, and the contractor took the time to discuss the available options, colors, and overall design. I shared the changes I wanted to make compared to my old deck, and he listened carefully and offered helpful suggestions. He provided a realistic timeline of 3 to 4 weeks based on his current workload, and I received regular updates via text—like when materials were ordered and the expected start date.
3.	The crew that worked on my deck was excellent. They were professional, competent, and hardworking, often arriving early and staying late, even during extreme heat and humidity.
4.	The quality of the work was top-notch, and they left the area clean and tidy once the job was done.
5.	Most importantly, the new deck looks like it was always meant to be part of the house. It blends in beautifully and feels like a natural extension of the home.
Overall, I highly recommend this contractor for anyone considering a deck remodel. Great communication, quality workmanship, and a beautiful finished product.

Blake and his team are professional and courteous. We built own deck in two phases and Blake was very understanding of our financial limits. We ended up with a great deck and beautiful stamped concrete patio!
Thanks Blake!

Highly recommend, based on my experience with owners Julie and Blake. Fair pricing, great communication, excellent quality of work (roof, siding, gutters, insulation, windows, trim), great attention to detail. They even communicated with insurance for me. Great business to work with!

We had great experience in working with Blake and Julie. They worked first on our neighbor’s deck, they had polite cru and worked very diligently. When we approached Blake for work on our house, he and Julie ended up with great plan and reasonable pricing, and accepted to complete work in very hard timeline due to our son’s wedding.
They did amazing job with our house woodwork, painting and with fixing the stairs footing. It was a difficult job considering that we have an old and historic house, that required additional attention for proper restoration. They were able to find experienced and skilled people to complete the job. Blake did most of wood on our house by him self.
Highly recommend them for any work!
